Ima's Foxy Fry: Finesse Jerkbait that produces serious results

I’ve been fishing with the Foxy Fry for a couple of seasons now and the results of this bait are consistently impressive. Ima markets this finesse jerkbait toward bass anglers, but we have found it to be an incredible lure for walleyes, perch, crappies, and bass. Jerkbaits consistently put fish in the boat, but there are times where smaller baits out produce bigger baits - especially on highly pressured waters.

But there’s another reason why smaller baits can outshine bigger baits, and that’s when fish are keying in on smaller forage. We have found that this happens throughout the open water season when crayfish molt and become highly vulnerable to predation. From our experience, we have seen this when the water warms into the 60’s in the spring and when the water cools down in the fall. Our fall bite typically lasts from upper 60 water temps until the temps fall off into the mid 50’s.

if you’re a serious angler and you’re looking for that bait that will consistently produce fish when other baits aren’t, go to www.optimumbaits.com and pick up a handful or two of Ima’s Foxy Fry. Leave a comment and give us a fishing report after you try one!
