5/19-20 Houghton Lake

I had the privilege of taking Matt and his son, Charlie, out for two days of guided fishing.  We had a blast.  We ended up with 11 legals eyes the first day and 9 the second day.  We caught fish on jigs and rippin raps.  The water temps were up a bit:  56-58 degrees.  We caught fish on the north shore and up near Harveys and on the east shore.  Ended up keeping 10 big gills, 10 crappies, 11 eyes and 9 pike on Monday.  Tuesday we ended up with 9 eyes, 15 huge crappies (15.25" biggest), and a couple beautiful northerns.
