Back in action on Lake George.  Most trips I'm out are 1.5-3 hours.  Fish (smallmouth) seem to only be deep at this point - 23-47 fow.  Catching some really solid fish - to 3 lbs.  Lost a couple of  pigs - one that seemed close to 4.

Still drop shotting - but having some success catching suspended fish and these tend to be the bigger fish.  Have to find a way to stay away from the rock bass.  More mayfly cases on the surface than earlier in the summer - fish seem to be puking them up along with perch.

Catching fish early and late and mid-day.  Some times a dead stick seems to work best - other times they want the bait "pounded."
