Lake Leelanau 8/19 am

Dog days of summer back in Michigan.  Water temps pushing 80 degrees and huge algae blooms had me wondering what the bite was going to be like.  Ended up with 6 beautiful legal walleyes, some nice smallmouths (biggest was pushing 5lbs) and rock bass.  Mark, Dan, and Pat had a great time fishing slip bobbers with leeches.  We did catch 3 legals jigging plastics - the key was using the Charlie Brewer Sliders.
