Lake George is an Amazing Lake Trout Fishery

I knew Lake George had a good lake trout population, but I didn't realize it was this healthy.  We are marking tons of fish on deep water humps.  Caught a fish last night and tonight.  Missed several.  All fish that we're landing are quality fish - 24"+ fish.  Jigging with plastics has been the ticket.  We are going to try drop shotting in that deep water with 1oz drop shot weights this week.  Plenty of openings this last week of the season for us in New York - text or email if you are interested!
