Review of Okuma's Guide Select Pro 7'6" L Spinning Rod
I just picked two of these up this spring because I have a growing passion for catching monster panfish - and so far - these rods have been amazing!
Here is what I love about these rods:
High end graphite. Super sensitive for detecting the lightest bites.
1 Piece!!! It is often very difficult to find long panfish rods that are one piece. But I am convinced that you get more feel from one piece construction.
Beautifully made. From tip to handle, these rods are constructed with high end components. The cork reel seat has multiple types of cork making it ultra attractive.
Fishing machine. We have already caught some nice largemouth as incidental catches fishing for trophy crappies. You could put the pedal to the metal on them - making this product something that can handle many different applications.
Nowadays it’s difficult to find a rod for $130 with the features this one has. That’s what I love about Okuma - if another manufacturer was making the same product - it would cost double. You get an amazing product at a amazing price. If you are a panfish hunter, you got to check these rods out!
