We have finally arrived on our summer pattern. The fish are all pressing out onto the deeper humps, and the bigger fish are showing up. This week we have boated a 4.1 and a 4.7 smallie, along with a 5.5 largemouth. The bite has been very aggressive. Still catching them on drop shots in 25-45 fow. Often I’m marking lots of bait in and around where the smallmouth are located.

Water temps have been 76-78 degrees for a couple of weeks. Top techniques are drop shots, hair jigs, jerkbaits, and wacky rigged senkos on a jighead.

Time to get out and catch a Lake George monster!
