The Lake George Series: Early Summer Fishing

We kicked things off June 12 on Lake George and were surprised to see 68 degree water temps!!! That’s the warmest this lake has been in early June since I started fishing the lake in 2012. How does that affect fishing?

Water temp has a huge impact on fishing because as the water temps warm, the fish move offshore and settle on offshore structure. So we did find some fish shallow, but the more I’ve been poking around off the shore spots, I’m finding lots of fish and bigger ones.
