"Dog Days of Winter" Gills

Had a chance to fish with our good friend, Cam, tonight.  Fishing was a little tougher than it has been.  The gills were a little more tentative than in the past weeks.  We still had a blast.  Hard to believe it's Feb. 15 and we have a total of 4 inches of ice.  Cam got to experience the Frabill straightline reels and the VMC tungsten fly jigs.  We might have done better if we had used waxworms - who knows.  We didn't have much in the form of rejection, we just didn't find the bigger schools of fish.  Still a fun hour and a half!
