Detroit River Plague Continues

The Detroit River continues to be a thorn in my side.  I dream about fishing it when it is on, but for several years now, that has not happened.  We ended up a short day with 3 walleyes - all males - nice fish.  All of them were around 20".  We caught them in 40 fow on the lower half of the river.  A couple of the highlights of the day were the jigs that Carl from Old Fart Lures poured for us - we fished them on rock all day and the paint looked amazing.  Blue and blue shad were the best color.  Charlie Brewer sliders came through with one of our fish.  One of these days we're going to learn how to fish this river!!!
