How will the new Skeeter SX 2250 do on Lake George? Top 5 reasons to buy a Skeeter SX 2250 to fish freshwater

This boat is the finest fishing machine I’ve ever fished out of! I wasn’t sure how much I would like using a bay boat in freshwater, but now I can’t believe more people in the northern half of our country aren’t fishing these boats! Here are a quick list of the features that I’ve come to love about the Skeeter SX 2250:

  1. Seating!!! I can seat 8 people in padded seating with a back rest. This makes for a super comfortable experience for my clients. You will love the jump seats in the back of boat. They flip up in a flash and again provide a very comfortable ride.

  2. Casting space. A center console has access to 360 casting around the entire boat.

  3. No carpeting! I absolutely hate carpeting. It’s difficult to keep clean (and I’m a clean freak). And even if it looks clean, when it gets wet, it absolutely stinks. This boat is 100% fiberglass. It cleans up super easily and it’s not slippery, even when it’s wet.

  4. Yamaha SHO outboard. Absolutely a beast of an engine. I can easily get 6 adults up on plane without any struggle. My 250 is a dream. Quiet and very powerful. But what did you expect - it’s a Yamaha!

  5. Storage. I thought I was going to lose storage space switching to this boat and it’s actually just the opposite. I have so much room that I have several storage compartments that I don’t even use yet.

I am planning on posting a video soon to show case all that this boat has to offer. Stay tuned!!!
