Ended Lake George 2019 fishing season on a high note
Our last couple weeks on Lake George were incredible. Not only did we catch a lot of brown bass, but we found some real beauties! Every year, the late July and early August bite is the best of the year for me. I focus deep - catching fish in 25 to 45 feet of water. I caught a lot of fish on three primary presentations: hair jigs, drop shots, and wacky rigged senkos.
Many of the spots I fished would produce 10+ quality fish at one time. I had one spot where we caught 40 solid fish between 2 and 3.6 pounds.
Wanted to thank all my clients for a great season! We learned a ton about the lake and about fishing for these amazing fish. Lord willing, we will be back in 2020 for another incredible season.
Absolutely love the new brand we started this year with Freshwater Therapy. Our goal is to teach fishing, but we want to make a difference in people’s lives. We want to help parents and families, husbands and wives, dads and sons and daughters connect with each other, have a great time, and fall in love with what God has given us (with the hope that many will fall in love with the Creator in the process). If we didn’t connect with you this summer, hopefully something could work out for the future!
