Why make the investment in Garmin electronics?

We saw this fish with the Livescope and caught it! It’s like playing a video game.

I sold my Skeeter SX 2250 only to buy another Skeeter SX 2250. The boat is amazing. But aside from Skeeter, what made my boat amazing was the Garmin technology I had at my finger tips. My old boat (2019) had a GPS Map 7610 and a 8610 on the bow and a 7610 at the helm. What my Garmin gives me access to has opened my eyes to the underwater world and has resulted in more fish in the boat. Here are some of my top reasons why I am investing in rigging my new boat with Garmin:

  1. Livescope: The best live imaging technology on the market. Garmin’s stuff has been out for several years now and it’s still the best.

  2. Durability and Dependability: I had my last Garmin’s for 5 years. I used them almost 200 days a year. I never had one issue with them. Garmin produces products that are dependable.

  3. Customer Service: I don’t even know where to start. Garmin’s service is the best I’ve ever experienced. I’m the guy who calls every week with questions on how to better use my tech. I talk to someone who communicates clearly and they always help me. I also had another incredible experience. I noticed with my units that there was some delamination happening on the screens. I called Garmin with the hope that I could pay to have the screens replaced. They sent me brand new units!!! This is how you build a company with satisfied customers who enjoy writing blogs to tell others of their incredible experiences!

  4. Incredible mapping software: The Lake Vu Ultra is super accurate, plug you have the ability to do your own lake mapping with QuickDraw.

  5. Excellent 2D and SideVu: What Garmin has is the best overall package out there. When you start in the airplane instrumentation world and come down to the marine world, you simply have the best engineers working to create the best technology.

  6. Garmin’s Force Trolling Motor: I can say that I’ve tried Motorguide and Minn Kota’s trolling motors and the Force is hands down the best. Super accurate anchor mode combined with dependability that a guide needs in a trolling motor - I’m planning to put another on my new boat.

I can’t wait to get two livescopes on my boat. I’m doing 4 units - two on the bow and two on the console. I will have two dedicated screens for live imaging. Book a trip and see for yourself why Garmin is the best!
