What's new with the Freshwater Therapy guide experience for 2024?

The longer I’m in the business of taking people fishing, the more I know it’s about trying to meet expectations. And if you know anything about fish, they don’t always want to cooperate (by the grace of God we seem to catch fish even when things are stacked against us). We thank God for His provision for us - and we also are super thankful for great technology that helps us as we hunt fish (and we do practice catch and release!). Here are some of the new technology that will continue to help us catch more fish and have a lot of fun in the process:

  1. Garmin Livescope LVS 34: We upgraded our Garmin Livescope from the LVS 32 to the LVS 34, which means we will have a clearer and more define image as we look for fish (super fun).

  2. Garmin Kraken 75”: We tweaked our trolling motor from a Garmin force to the new Garmin Force Kraken. The extra length of trolling motor will allow us to fish a little better in windy conditions.

  3. Douglas Outdoors Rods: We joined team Douglas late last year and are excited to have you fish these rods. Awesome quality and perfect for all the techniques we use on the boat.

  4. Tackle: We are loaded with Charlie Brewer Sliders, Keitech jig heads, all the hard baits anyone would ever want to throw, and slip bobber stuff for some of our secret bobber scoping exercises for walleyes and giant panfish.

  5. More to come!

Almost all of my spring is full in Michigan. I do have a couple dates left. Looking to fill my summer schedule on Lake George in NY. I am also booking for the fall in Michigan right now. Feel free to call or text me to get something on my calendar (517-488-3224).
