Amazing Lake Trout Fishing on Lake George: New Techniques Dominate
I don’t like to give away my secrets. So I’m going to give you a taste of some of the best techniques we use on Lake George to catch lake trout. Last year we caught more and bigger fish than ever.
Top 3 Techniques:
Jig and plastic. I love to CAST plastics in deep water and work them back to the boat. We caught literally hundreds of lakers last year doing this. Now cadence is key and that you might have to book a trip and jump in the boat to learn the details on that.
Hard baits: Love a series of hard baits for lakers. Remember that you are targeting a predator - so get their predatory instinct going and there’s a good chance you can trigger a bite.
