Struck out on the Bay...River had solid action

Fished 2/10 on Saginaw Bay, out about 8-9mi from Callahan parking area on the east side...between 22-26 fow.  Fished hard.  Moved around a lot.  Didn't mark a single fish.  Talked to a bunch of local guys.  Fish were not moving around.  We decided to bag it around noon and headed back to the river.  We fished downtown Bay City and had fish on the screen almost the entire time.  We tried a bunch of jigging raps, we finally figured out what they wanted and ended up with several short fish.  It was just a tough day over all.  Really makes you thankful for the good days!
