Houghton Lake 8/22 PM

Had the opportunity to head up to Houghton Lake with Yoshi, Rin, Jun, and Yuriko for a few hours yesterday afternoon. The weather was calm and hot. Conditions were mostly flat and weeds are thick. Water temp was 78 deg. The walleye didn't want the jig in the mid-day bite but the bass and pike were hungry for it. Goes to once again prove how versatile the Charlie Brewer Slider is! Old Fart Lures We got bit off several times before we landed some good fish. It was really fun to watch this energetic family catch fish they have never caught before.
