5 Reasons to Buy Garmin Over The Others
I have been super impressed with my Garmin electronics. So impressed that I couldn’t imagine ever going back to Lowrance or switching to Humminbird.
I bought the GPSMap 7610’s in 2015 and haven’t had one issue with them. I’m on the water over one hundred days a year and I know that every time I hit that power button, I’m going to have a unit that is fully functional. Here are my top five reasons why I would nudge you toward Garmin over any other chart plotter or fish finder on the market.
Reliability.
These units are made to last. Again, this is my fourth year fishing the same units and I have complete confidence in them.
Easy to use.
Even though these units have a ton of features, they are simple to use. You don’t need to read a manual to figure them out. The software is plug and play. If I ever have a question, I just call Garmin up and they walk me through it.
Customer Service.
I love the fact that when I call Garmin I talk with someone who speaks English as their first language. They are experts with the units. They have always been helpful and have helped me solve the challenge I’m facing. I’m more of a hands on learner, so I view my customer support experience as a custom training session.
Features: LakeVu HD Ultra Maps and Quickdraw.
I can’t tell you how much I love this map. As a fishing guide, I use my map probably as much as any other feature on my electronics. Time and time again, I pick a fishy looking spot on my map, pull up to it and catch fish. Happened just the other day on a new lake we are fishing. I buy electronics with superior mapping software because it’s that important to me as a serious angler.
If I ever run across a smaller, more obscure lake without a good lake map, with the push of a couple buttons I’m mapping with QuickDraw.
Clear Image.
Garmin’s utilized CHIRP technology to give you a super clear, crisp image. And with their newest creation, Ultra High Def sidevu, you have an even clearer image.
I’m not the only one who is sold out on Garmin. Everyone of my clients falls in love with the technology on the boat. If you haven’t given this stuff a look yet, you owe it to yourself to do that. Go to www.garmin.com for more information!
