Fish fish, not spots with Garmin's Livescope

Scoped this beauty on a hair jig

Garmin’s Live technology transformed the fishing world maybe more than any other single tech development. Before livescope we would fish spots. We’d look at a lake map and pull up to spots and hope the fish were on those spots/structures.

Today, everything is different. We fish areas, but we look for fish. And over and over, you find fish don’t always follow the rules that we thought existed. Often fish are located suspended all over the place - often around bait. And this isn’t just early in the season. I see fish suspended all season long.

Time and time again I have caught specific fish that I see on my Garmin GPS8610 and LVS34. I watch how fish respond to baits. It happens on every body of water I fish. Yesterday I saw smallies swim up 30 feet to hit a jerkbait. After the mayflies popped, I watched sluggish walleyes come up and munch on a leech hanging beneath a float.

Bottom line is this: fishing will never be the same with this technology. If you want to learn more, book a trip and see what I’m writing about in action.
